May 31 marks the international release day of the Honor Magic4, according to a new leak. Both the Honor Magic4 and Honor Magic4 Pro are expected to make their European debuts.
A few months ago, Honor released its latest flagship, the Honor Magic4. So far this has had little to no impact on most users as the smartphone has never officially left China. This is now going to change.
On May 12, Honor will hold its official launch event in London. Both the standard and Pro models of the Honor Magic4 are expected to premiere in the European market, with more releases to follow soon. For reference, the Magic4 Lite is already available in some European countries.
A photo shared on Twitter by trusted tipster Roland Quandt reiterates that the Magic4 Pro has a price tag of 1099 euros (the equivalent of 1150 dollars with tax). The standard version is expected to cost 899 euros (about $940 including VAT), as announced in February. These numbers are for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage variants of the respective models.
Both devices have 6.81-inch LTPO screens and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel of the Pro version has a resolution of 1,312 x 2,848, while the standard has a 1,224 x 2,664. Aside from the higher ppi on the Pro model, both panels have similar specs (like brightness, color gamut, etc.)
One of the highlights of the Magic4 range is the “Eye of Muse” camera module. It features a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide 50MP sensor and, depending on the model, a 64MP telephoto camera on the Pro version or an 8MP on the standard Magic4.
In terms of internal specifications, the devices are almost identical. They both have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and the Adreno 730 GPU and are available in either 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The Pro version comes in two internal storage options (256 and 512 GB), while the standard offers three configurations: 128, 256 and 512 GB.
The international release is kicking off in Europe, with pre-orders starting a week earlier on May 24 and some early bird exclusives out there depending on the country.
