T-Mobile Brings ‘Internet Freedom’ to Consumers and Businesses in a Major New ‘Un-Carrier’ Movement

Posted on May 9, 2022 by admin

The “Un-carrier” is dead, long live the “Un-carrier”. That could easily be the main takeaway from many of T-Mobile’s longtime customers and hardcore fans of the operator’s last major announcement event, where CEO Mike Sievert ceremonially closed an elaborate program called internet freedom.

After “dismantling” the wireless industry during John Legere’s eventful and decidedly prolific reign, Magenta essentially plays some of its most successful plays Outrun AT&T and threatens Verizon’s supremacy and seeks to leverage it into another huge market with notoriously low customer satisfaction rates. .

Free yourself from the shackles of your ISP…and save a lot of money

Launched last year with not much national fanfare, T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet network expanded impressively rapidly to more and more territories and more and more people, with a million subscribers much earlier than originally expected and (theoretically) over 40. million households in recent weeks.

Obviously, these aren’t rival numbers to Comcast or Charter, which is why Magenta wants to step up its broadband customer-grabbing game in exactly the same way it took millions of mobile users away from AT&T and Verizon.

First and foremost, you don’t have to worry about early termination fees if you choose to ditch your existing ISP (Internet Service Provider) in favor of T-Mobile, as the “Un-carrier” covers everything… up to $500.

Meanwhile, if you’re not sure if T-Mo’s Home Internet service is really all it is, you can give it a 15-day test drive before signing anything, and if you’re not happy with it, you’re free. to return the operator’s gateway device and you don’t have to pay a cent.

Speaking of payments, the $50 monthly rate that undercuts the competition can now be “locked up” for good with all taxes and fees included, meaning you’ll be coughing up the period as long as you get your T-Mobile Home Internet Service.

You can even drop that down to a measly $30 per month (locked and charged) if you have a Magenta Max wireless plan with at least two lines of service. The timing of this discount and especially the introduction of Price Lock couldn’t be more inspired, as AT&T literally does nothing butraised some of its wireless and broadband prices, which T-Mobile essentially promises never to do.

But wait, there’s more

More money to save, that is, and yes, cool perks and freebies to score week after week. That’s right, the popular T-Mobile Tuesdays program is officially expanding to Home Internet customers who aren’t also subscribed to Magenta’s wireless services, though you’ll need both to claim some of the best deals.

For example, next Tuesday, May 10, T-Mo will be offering $50 off any streaming device currently on the market (including Chromecast, Fire TV, Roku, and Apple TV), as long as you have Home Internet and a voice subscription. Plus, Magenta Max subscribers with home internet on their account can also get access to YouTube TV for a full year at half price, saving nearly $400 on that promotion alone.

Last but not least, T-Mobile is also on hand as a small business owner, offering 5G wired wireless at incredibly competitive prices “anywhere within its wireless footprint”.

If you can get a 5G signal on your phone, which is now practically nationwide, Magenta can connect your business to the Internet for just $50 a month, more than meeting the needs of “most small businesses.” and remote offices” in areas where unlimited broadband does not yet exist.

Overall, “Big Internet” may not seem like much to worry about in terms of its supremacy threatened by the ambitious newcomer with the deep pockets and the winning mentality, but that’s probably what AT&T did a few years ago. thought too.
