While the road to global success has been paved with frequent releases (and aggressive promotions) for Samsung’s Galaxy Buds selection, the company has yet to unveil a single AirPods alternative this year after releasing two such products in 2021 and two in 2020.
This new theory is supported (in part) by another typically reliable tipster, whose retail sources say Samsung’s upgraded buttons could go on sale earlier than previously expected. That’s right, commercial availability will likely start as early as “early July,” meaning we won’t have long to wait for a formal announcement.
As surprising as the company’s possible plan to release these bad guys a whole month before the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 will sound, their rumored color options are certainly the complete opposite, including Zenith White, Zenith Bora Purple, and Zenith Graphite. . â€
We’re actually looking at shades of white, black, and purple here, which aren’t much different from the Phantom Violet, Phantom Black, and Phantom Silver flavors of the first-generation Buds Pro. The non-Pro Galaxy Buds 2, meanwhile, come in olive, lavender, white, graphite and onyx finishes, so Samsung could at least take a few steps back with these changes to start with.
The Galaxy Buds Pro 2 can always get extra colors, not to mention there’s also a possibility that these ‘zenith’ shades will become special… one way or another. In short, true wireless earbud fans with Android handsets in their possession can certainly look forward to early next month.
