A new leak confirms previous reports about the possible Galaxy Watch 5 colors

Posted on June 19, 2022 by admin

The release of the The Galaxy Watch 5 series is getting closer. Samsung is rumored to be unveiling its latest smartwatch series in August along with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. As a device approaches its announcement, the rumor mill is releasing leak after leak pretty much all the time. And the Galaxy Watch 5 series is no exception. A new leak from Evan Blass, also known as evleaks, reaffirms that the Galaxy Watch 5 lineup will consist of three devices: a smaller, a larger Galaxy Watch 5 and a Pro version that will only be available in one size. The tweet also details what colors the Galaxy Watch 5 series may be available in and what their possible color names are.

From the leaked image, we can see that the smaller Galaxy Watch 5 will be available in silver, rose gold and graphite. The larger one is available in silver, sapphire, and graphite. The Pro model is only available in gray and black titanium.

The naming scheme used in the image confirms earlier rumors that Samsung will make the Pro version of the Galaxy Watch 5 from premium materials. The case of the Pro model is said to be made of titanium, while the screen is covered with sapphire glass. This is an upgrade from the materials used in the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium Edition, which featured a Gorilla Glass covered dial.

Evan Blass’s New Leak Supports Information Tipper Jon Prosser came out earlier about the possible colors of the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Again, on Twitter, Prosser stated that the new Galaxy Watch range would consist of three devices and said what colors we can expect them in. The only difference is in the naming scheme. Prosser suggested calling one of the colors Phantom Black, but in Blass’ leaked image we see it’s called Graphite.

Whether both leaks are correct, we will of course only know at the Samsung event in August. However, since both sources are in good standing and say essentially the same thing, chances are they are wrong.
